k20 in 7th gen civic question...
sup fellas
my friend has a motor....he said its a si tranny, si head, rsx bottom end, type s pistons/rods/crank/oil pan/intake manifold...
he wants 4k to put the motor in my friends 7th gen...hes gonna do EVERYTHING FOR THAT PRICE...change it to a standard...5speed...ecu,axles etc...
i was wonderin if that setup is as close as a regular type s motor? and if its a good deal or not
any help would be helpfule

a stock type s motor i've seen around 5 grand maybe. i wouldn't piece together a motor its better to buy everything whole and do the swap yourself. do some research on 7thgencivic.com cause they have diy's for the K20 swap

Re: (Boosted2Cam)
not worth it imo.. Save alittle more and go for the full type S swap... Differnt parts from all around just sounds shaky...If I had 4 grand and I didnt feel like waiting longer to save up money for K20 swap, I'd just boost it...

not worth it to just get different parts from different K series. just get the type-s swap and leave it at that. why even get the type-s bottom end and the si head??? don't make sense at all.
