Hard starting issue after fuel up

Hard starting issue after fuel up
I have an 02' ep3 and have had hard starting issues after fueling up when I have less than a quarter tank of gas. I have tried driving the car around and letting it sit for a bit, as if I were fueling up and I had no issues.
I also tried turning the key to the to the on position for a bit to prime the fuel pump after fueling up and still had the hard starting issue.
When the car has the starting issue I need to crank it for about 10-15 seconds until it rolls over.
Someone told me the issue might be within the fuel pump, or with a valve that bleeds fuel back into the tank being stuck open.
I also have codes on the car for an evap leak, P1457 evap control system leak (evap canister area) I'm pretty sure this is unrelated but figured I should mention it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Hard starting issue after fuel up
I don't know the exact technical problem for this but next time you have that issue, try taking off your gas cap, releasing the air/fumes, and try to start it.

Fixed the issue, I replaced the charcoal canister shut vent ($70 from Honda). Both screws on the vent were rusted so much you could hardly tell they were phillips head. Had to take them out with vise grips. Erased the codes and went to a gas station when I had less than a quarter tank and it started normally after the fill up. Apparently what was happening was, the vent was stuck open/leaking and gas was flooding my engine upon filling up.
Hope this might help someone with a similar issue.
