? about reving (2006 type S)
I was reving my 2006 type s, and noticed that while i was reving the engine, at stop in neutral, it only went to 5500 rpm I was wondering why this was. Thanks

Re: ? about reving (Mr. Brightside)
Well I have an '03 and it won't let me either. I heard that it won't let you because it won't let v-tec engage at a stop and thats when it starts to engage. I could be in left feild but it sounds like it to me.

That's what I thought too, but non-engaging of vtec sounds valid too.
Eitherway, why are you revving at neutral?

Exactly my question, too. It won't let you rev to red-line in neutral to keep you from blowing stuff up when you launch.
