yes, I was running on fumes when I filled up.
FYI: if you park your bus with the drivers rear corner higher than the others, she'll fit about 2ish more gallons.

Does anyone else have an issue of the low fuel light going on when you still have 3 gallons left? My low fuel light comes on and the car is on E but only fills up 10 gallons. Anyone else have that issue?

the lines also hold a little bit. but, 1.7 gallons more is hard to believe.
trust me, after 60k miles on this turd I have filled it up a time or two......
at most pumps the first "click" off leaves around 2-2.5 gallons more space (provided you have the drivers rear higher than the rest of the kar)

it must be nice fillinq up w/ only 13+ gallons, my new rx7 takes a little over 20 gallons, and if im lucky i get 15-17 mpg. so it looks like you are running 87 in that thing. @ $1.32 a gallon. if my calculations are correct. does that affect the performance much, if any.

unless your running an A2 or boosting, anything higher than 87 is a total waste of $$$

Yack, glad to see you finally got around to installing the switches!!
-Victor ( who notices the fuel light coming on early too )

that's what I wonder.. how do you park with driver's side rear up? you just go under there and raise that coil? and I think all lights come on early my oddyssey's light turns on before it even hits red.. of course ef-ers like me don't even get a light so we gotta go by instinct.

Yeah the low fuel light comes on when it gets to empty but then the needle goes back up close to a quarter tank, weird.

Personally, I'd avoid filling up at that pump again. Some gas stations purposefully mis calibrate their pumps so that they indicate that you have pumped more gas than you have actually put in the tank.
I've filled up the ep a time or two as well, and the most i've ever fit into the tank is right around 14 gallons (just a notch under), this is with the car on a relatively flat surface.
next time you go to that pump, get a gallon gas container and see if the pump actually pumps a true gallon.

I've done +14gals many times before, @ other pumps, in various states......

you really think its a waste of money running on the highest octane?.. i would like to kno.. since i drive an EP stock LOL...... i always put 91 in my crv.. which has lower C/R.. and i somewhat offroad it.. i was just told it i was climbing hills and what not. id have less ping in the motor.. specially in hard accelerating.. and draging alot of weight.. i just relatively been safe with 91.. from my experience.. and kinna feel sluggish when i use anything else under

Hondata does recommend using at least 91 with thier flash in the Si.
Jack, do you even go onto the track with 87?
People swear there's a slight performance difference, but no dynos...yet.

its not really a problem. but its something that i've noticed on the many hondas that have been through our family. a few civics, an integra, a legend and a TL. its called being a little optimistic. nothing wrong at all with it.

the base ING maps in the A3 ECU is very low, there are ZERO gains on the dyno with higher than 87 fuel......

Cool, until I get hondata, that should save me $10-$20 a year.

uh , not -- what about Hondata. Ive run 100+ octane at the track and it DOES make a difference. Period.

There seems to be apocryphal information on a couple of other boards saying that after a couple of tanks of 91+ octane, the computer advances the spark curve enough for you to feel it.
I guess those other boards are full of it.

Hmmm, whos that guy who has a dyno at work? He should be able to test the theory and put it to bed once and for all.
