Default EP3 WONT START!!!!!

last week we changed out the clutch/flywheel on my brothers EP3, the clutch has been done for about a week now, but we finished assembly of battery, intake, grounding kit, and shift linkage just today..................anyways we start it & everything is good, engine sounds fine, new clutch is engaging properly, so we go to take it for a test drive and the car stalls, we start it again and it immediately dies, we start to give it some gas the car stays running but sounds like its misfiring like crazy and if you let off the throttle it dies

i really dont understand what the problem could be, cause a couple days before the clutch went out the car drove fine?

checked all sensors, vacuum lines, ignition, fuel, & air...........still nothing

i was thinking that it was the timing, but how does the timing just randomly change????? or if it did, how do u adjust it

what is a mystery to me is, how did the car run completely fine when we first started it, and now we cant even get it to stay running

any input would be greatly appreciated !!!

if you turn the k series motor the wrong way you can cause timing to jump always turn a k clockwise cause counter clockwise will take the pressure of the tensioner and cause it to jump

Have you pulled the timming chain cover and lined up all the timing marks? If you do not feel ok with doing this, you might want to take it to a tech.
