Do it yourself, only problem you might have is getting the exhaust bolts off, not to the head though. I would spray PB blaster on them each day a couple days before to get them loosened up.

Not hard, the only thing that sucks about doin it without a lift is layin on the ground crankin on those bolts for awhile, but it's still good experience.

Re: dc5 Race Header Installation Options (josh's ep3)
i just wanted to know if it is possible to do the rsx on jacks. what might be complicated is that the dc is one piece, i heard you have to remove the sway bar for BCRH is it the same for DCRH ??

JohnClaunch you would say something like that....
You don't even work on your own car? Where's the pride? The fun? Thats weak
It's easy and makes you feel great knowing YOU DID IT YOURSELF. Then clean up and test drive it... what a thrill

I ran into the problem of getting my strupp race header past the swaybar even after rotating it backwards. Once i got it on I got a tapping noise from the header hitting the swaybar so i looked it up and its totaly normal but still annoying. I looked up my options and you can take the sway totally off or you can buy a new swaybar that clears the header. I tried out taking the swaybar off and seein how it felt and to my surprise it drives almost the EXACT same as it did before. ;-) If you get the tapping noise i would definately try driving without the sway and see if you like it.

As far as techniques... Pb blaster is great to spray on the bolts like mentioned above by AEMCIV and also make sure you have new bolts that came with your new header. I didnt break any of mine but it does happen alot.
**Also check to see if your new header is going to make your exhaust stick back too far.
