Saw this and thought it post-worthy:

Cooling air for the rear-mounted engine enters through integrated side scoops that would create a minimal amount of flow disturbance, exiting underneath the car in its low-pressure area. By continuing the rear slope of the bodywork until the trailing edge, the wake created by the car is very small. Without the need to be mounted high, the rear wing is located in the path of laminar flow since there is no area of turbulence behind the rear window. The rear window also tapers in toward the centre of the vehicle to reduce (eliminate?) turbulence.
A very aero-sophisticated car!

Re: Good Aero Info
There was a pretty good article in (I think) Motortrend sometime maybe 02-03 where they compared to the top speed of the SRT-10 to the Z06. The SRT-10 had like 100 more HP. But the Corvette was almost a full 10th of a percent lower coeffecient of drag (Cd). In the end the Z06 had a better top end speed. It gave a good real world idea of just what aerodynamics could give you.
Interestingly one of the better aero designs is the "Kammback" or sometimes associated with the Shooting Brake. Its given us such wonders as the Ford GT40 and Ferrari Dino, but also more civil cars like the Toyota Prius (and you thought it was shaped like that just to be ugly!)
EDIT: Also there were the great quotes of the various 90's hyper cars where something like the Mclaren F1 GTR could drive upside down at like 160MPH.....now thats aerodynamics! Why this was never demostrated is something congress needs to look into as a crime against humanity
