they wont let you move up b/c theres a certain amount of cars they designated for each group. but id suggest you are at the front of the line when they let you out on the track. i prefer to be passsing people rather than worrying about holding people up.

dam, one of my rear tire caught a freakin' screw today and its near the sidewall. Hope it's fixable!

Certain spots have power I always use the various outlets to charge stuff: Heat up meatballs on the electric warmer, charge the scooter.. all i need now is a mini fridge for the drinks. The backup is the propane stove & ice chest.
Yum. nothing more appetizing than the smell of balut lingering in your helmet. I'm sure you'll be laying down nice barf slicks after a few laps. "The treat with feet". Though i'm sure balut is probably more appetizing than the infamous "Buttonwillow smell on the downwind"(the food dump)... are the toads of BW out this time of the year?
Don't forget, the pastrami is pretty darn good at BW too.

i agree. i'm afraid of someone that doesn't know how to drive trying to pass me
my car is stock and on street tires. gonna be slow.
my friend and i are gonna be there on April 12. buttonwillow. two stock ITRs from fresno. see you guys there. registering tomorrow.

LOL. don't be so sure. my first time on a track... and i don't think a few yeara of "spirited" mountain driving and Gran Tourismo will cut it at Buttonwillow. i'll only be going at about 80% this day.

just came back from a weekend getaway up north with my girlfriend and decided to go stop by Laguna Seca for the first time to see if anything was going on. No one was running but it was well worth the time to check out the track. Such a magnificant track! I might sign up for Laguna Seca as well as Buttonwillow

yeah. since i missed buttonwillow, we're looking at laguna seca. i have the track memorized.. so it will be interesting to DRIVE it. i've seen quite a few races there and would like to be IN one. hopefully i can get in on this one before it's closed out

is anyone going from the long beach area? or will be going home by long beach? i got a guy on a local music messageboard i post on who used to be an instructor for speedtrialsusa who said he wouldnt mind tagging along and giving me some guidance on the track, only thing is, im driving up to berkeley on saturday night to see my best friend and the guy would need a ride home
