for those of you tucking your o2 sensor away onto the chassis/ not in the cat, are you plugging the sensor hole with a bolt?
also, how many of you are running only 1 fouler and cutting off the sensor shield? is the sensor likely to read more emissions with the shield removed? i wouldnt want to ruin a good sensor by cutting the shield.

Hello everyone,
I really hope people are still reading this thread... ok here we go had aftermarket cat put in several months ago, no check light for months, then it came back on. just replaced main O2 sensor and still on..... I really dont have the money for a cat from the dealer I am guess that would be a nice thoushand doaller job when all is said and done. I saw the fouler fix and wondering how it really works. I see how its done but not sure if you are supposed to put the o2 sensor back in the cat not. further more what about the hole in the cat if you dont....
this is for a 2002 honda accord 2.3l SE coupe. HELP!!!!

I followed this technique on my 02 civic coupe i placed mine in the cat converter below the car hope it works.

Cool, looks like I will be trying this as well and will report back with my finds. My car is 98 Honda CRV OBD2, will doing it on the secondary O2 sensor, as i am currently showing code P420.
