do it like we did it last year, choice one, then on the return, choice two.

choice one was great last year...it was rainy, horrible weather, yet we drove by cops while they slept

If you took #2, us northerners could MAYBE meet up with you somewhere and roll the last few miles...

choice one is the best, cause then we can meet up with all of the MD, VA krew. I was putting together a mailling list and ****, guess I better get on the ball. Post here if you are interested in joining the caravan...

Last year we all met at a rest stop about 1/3 of the way west from philly, worked out great...

we weren't sure what time to meet though - I guess it depends on when everyone is rolling out. I'm taking thursday off, so we were thinking about heading out in the morning or early afternoon.

Yeah there is nothing like rolling 50+ R's deep. We pretty much ruled the road that day.

Did we meet at the second rest stop on the Turnpike after Breezewood or the first one?

You guys stopped at Midway........i go past there all the time on the way to my Grandma's house. She lives in Bedford and thats the Bedford rest-stop. Everybody lined up against that wall/barrier in the expo dvd!

Midway = Bedford rest stop!

Like I said, for us Philly/DE/South Jersye/MD/Va drivers, I think the southern route is the best... It would be cool to meet at a rest stop, then caravan through the tunnells together.

What time is everyone leaving? I'm thinking like 9am friday morning...

..... took me 2 hours to get through Breezewood last weekend. But its easiest to meet up at the rest stops along the turnpike since there is so much room for parking

IF I can go I would like to leave my house very early Friday maybe like 5am so I could get out of NYC before the traffic becomes a headache. I would like to meet up with a bunch of you guys, SO I probably would take the southern route...

Regardless of which direction we take, WHEN is everyone leaving, now that Friday's track time is cancelled? I'm figuring with a 4-hour drive or so, leave at 10am on Friday, get there at 2 or 3, still have time to hang out and then to the banquet. Thoughts?

Rob if my car is ready we can try to meet up and catch the southern route. We can stop at Opies and wake his fat as up too. All assuming I can get the car put back together and tuned enough to drive it. I should have my block this week, and ordering OEM goodies from Len tomorrow for the rebuild. Wish me luck.
