Re: mRvYbEs PYR build thread
He sent me a few cans of paint all the way from San Antonio, Texas. This is what you call a true friend.
You’re probably wondering by now what I’m gonna paint.
As you can see there’s a lot grease and dirt on the motor
Prepping the motor to degrease
Oh and the tranny too
Time to put my Picasso touches on
Intake side
Exhaust side
Tranny
Other pieces of the motor I painted
A/C compressor bracket, timing chain cover, water pump, tensioner cover, bracket, solenoid heat shield, tensioner pulley housing, solenoid housing & water pump housing
A/C condenser & thermostat pipe housing
Everything painted

Re: mRvYbEs PYR build thread
I went to the acura dealer to inquire about parts for another car and ended up leaving there with these:
Hondabond & an oil filter
After applying some hondabond I reinstalled the timing chain cover, crank pulley, waterpump, tensioner pulley and sensors
New oil filter installed
At this point I figured I might as well paint the valve cover until I pickup a next one.
Valve cover installed
While I'm on my Picasso ish, I found a company that puts OEM paint in a spray can. Wayyyyyy better option than touch up paint
I got a few spots in the engine bay that need touching up
On to the prep
After the first coat
A/C condenser back in
