Looking for a 1998 ITR
Well its been a while but i'm back!
Being back in detroit for awhile I decided that its time to go back to my roots, the S2k is about to go into storage and my EG project isnt really holding my attention as well as I'd have liked. So I have finally said 'screw it' and i'm gonna go find a CW 98 ITR to replace the 98 I lost to thieves.
The car doest have to be in great shape as I will be doing a lot of rebuilding getting it ready for the track.
I'm not in a huge rush, I hope to get a car up and running by spring.
If anyone knows one in good mechanical condition please let me know. (straight, rust free frame are a MUST!!)
Thanks everyone!
fais

"nice" is relative. Dings, dents, scratches, all no problem. I can take care of those (Besides they add character) as long as the motor is running and strong I'm happy.

Fais, as many of us remember, there were several threads about the deal between you and 01SpecR (formerly "TillerMan") that basically say you are a scammer. Even now, 01SpecR still has this signature attached to his posts:
-------------------------------------------
CW ITRice 01-1233
SpeekPak ( Faisal Ahmad ) <<==== Scammer
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=322885
-----------------------------------------
Last time it left off, it appeared that the issue was still not resolved and you were no where to be found. Since this deal was made so public, and now you are back, would you care to clarify for those of us who concerns about the issue?

Re: Looking for a 1998 ITR (SpeedPak)
Ok,
I have no issue trying to clarify things for anyone. First off I'd like to make it clear that the issue w/ Tillerman was not the reason i was absent from H-T, those of the members that know me personally, know that I was going through a very life changing personal upheaval at the time.
I had posted a lot of my stuff for sale during that time. I sold much of my personal belongings, to fund what I was doing to regain my personal life, one of the items was an intake from my ITR which I had recently sold. Other parts from the car made it to whereever they were going, and yes I was unsually slow, and I should not have been, but at that time there was a lot going on..no excuses there.
Tillerman and I decided to trade the intake for a strut bar for the S2k, to me it sounded like no one was really interested in buying the intake so I agreed. I sent the part out a total of 3 times, twice it was returned to me, the last time it was not. During this time I had also recently moved to ohio to put myself through a kind of personal hell, and so matters from H-T and the rest of the world for that matter fell to the wayside. Time went on and the issue continued to grow, and after finally getting sick of everything (and after talking Socalitr) i decided the strut bar wasnt worth the mess and sent BOTH parts back one final time. That was the last I saw of either. I do not have an ITR so I have no use to scam someone for a $150 intake, and anyone is more than welcome to inspect my S2k and find NO strut bar or anything similiar on the car. I do not know what happened and to be honest, good or bad, at the time this was happening I really didnt care. I sent it, I didnt get it returned, I assumed case was closed.
Apparently it is not, I was not aware that Tillerman still thinks i scammed him. I'm not trying to defend my actions and say I was right, but I would not steal or scam anyone, and last of all an ITR owner.
That all said, since then my situation has changed for the better, and things have normalized quite a bit. This was my first hit back to H-T, and I do not wish anyone to think I'm a scammer or a thief or what not, so you guys tell me what I should do? I did read through the posts, and i guess i would have liked if ppl showed up at my door w/ bats on their way to the expo, that way they could see first hand I truely DONT have any of the parts anymore. And before anyone asks...no i dont have shipping reciepts, hell in all my moving i even lost my W2's.
After sending both parts back, apparently he is not satisfied, I would assume he hasnt recieved anything or something like that..i dont know.
So anyway that is my end of the story... I'm sure i'm gonna get flamed to hell, but tell me what should I do?
EDIT fixed some typos in the 2nd paragraph

Seems like 01specR (TillerMan) has not been online for over a month. If the issue has been sorted out (insurance thru shipping company, refund, or whatever deal you work out with him), he should remove his "scammer alert" on his signature.
Fais, thanks a lot for providing the other side of the story.
