Integra Type R Turbo Tuning Washington/Oregon???
As the title states. #122 will be ready for the road in the next couple weeks and I will be back in Seattle just before Expo 5 to take care of some last minute details.
One major detail is to get my car properly tuned on a dyno by some knowledgeable folks. I have searched the archived posts on Honda-Tech which yielded little results and all of which were dated several years back.
I am willing to pay top dollar for a quality tuner. The car will be running Uberdata. I need one chip burned for 10lbs of boost and another burned for 22lbs of boost.
I appreciate anyone pointing me in the proper direction. Suggestions and recommendations are welcome. If you are a tuner and viewing this thread, you can IM me personally with your experience and we can work out the details of where and when we can tune the car and your rates for doing so.
Thanks everyone! See you Seattle boys soon, and I'll see the rest of you at Expo shortly!!!

Too bad you couldn't come up my way. Kinetic Motorsport did an excellent job on Dr. Poo's Turbo R. Shawn @ Kinetic Motorposrts came highly recommended.

Are you going back to Hawaii or moving back here for good? It'd be cool to meet up once I get a new car. Don't forget you promised us Washington guys some cop research for our stolen cars!

Just to clarify, Shawn wouldn't know haw to make a basemap with uberdata. I did that myself on the street, and I did the dyno tuning with Shawns supervision (I did the uberdata work on the laptop, Shawn interpreted the graphs and gave me usefull advice).

Brandon,
How you doing bud. This is Jamie from Speedline Motorsports. Not sure if you still remember me but it's been a while (I see your car 4-5 times a week so I can't forget who you are, lol). Anyways, I've heard a little bit about your rebuild and I'm sure it will be one crazy bitch. From what I've seen, you like to go top of the line.
As far as strong tuners around this area (like Mase, tony1, st00pid, and all them EFI tuning gods), I'd say Torque Freaks is one of the good ones. I personally have not had a car tuned there but I know a few people who have with great results.
I'm still tuning myself, learning more and more every day. Since you left WA, I've probably had about 15-20 other cars tuned on Uberdata (and now recently Crome). Most of them are mild setups but this season, I'll be putting everything I've learned to the real test with some big turbo/built setups. Not sure if Zol has told you about his car but we're looking for 500+whp. Got another guy wanting to pus his LS/VTEC (forged internals and block guard) to the 400+whp range. Other friends are looking for big numbers as well and hopefully we'll reach our goal.
If you can't find anyone else, or simply interested in giving me a shot, let me know. I know you want everything done top notch, and I can definatly work with that. Unfortunetly, we do not have a dyno yet (planning on getting a Dyno Dynamics), but there is another shop around here with a DynaPack which could do the job (although I have to verify that their dyno can handle over 400-500whp ). The ROM Editor I would rather use is Crome. Recently we purchased a commercial Crome license. In my opinion, I find Crome is far more stable and offers much more options than Uberdata. Once you come back to WA, stop by and I can show you what it's like. The only thing that will really cost you is dyno time since I can't really get discounted pricing.
Whatever you choose to do, best of luck and I'm sure you'll put down some sick numbers and times.
