Default I need help bad!

I just installed a new Distributor and now my RPM gauge quit working.... all the others work fine.

I could have sworn it worked when I first started it up as I saw it wasn't when I started it later to drive home. The VAFC is still reading RPM's.... I have a tuning date for Monday so I need this fixed this week. Anyone?

i would suggest re-installing it and making sure everything is connected and not cross connected...

Not yet, but how would that effect the gauge at all?

not yet...I figured it was something besides the dizzy. The reason why I bought a new one was b/c my tach was only reading to 6k and would fall back to zero. My tuner told me he was 100% sure that my distributor was going bad so I bought a new one and now my tach isnt working at all.

maybe a loose wire or something???

Will the dizzy cause the engine to misfire, but not show a code?

Absolutely. Along with a few other anomolies.

As someone else stated, it may be best to get King on the phone. Sounds like a quality control issue. Regardless, maybe if you simply get in there something will be obvious. Use your Helms as a reference.
