HIDs and OEM light housing?
There's been alot of great information on after market HIDs. I have one concern about adding market HIDs on the car. My question is with the increased heat that the HIDs produce; will it melt the OEM housing? Thanks for your guys cooperation!

I heard from other people that their housing started to melt!

I run the Phillips ballast on 20 mini-amp fuses, with H.I.D. D2S bulbs in my stock headlight housing. Never had a problem with melting the housing at all. Temperature of the housing is cool to the touch. Shouldn't be a problem.
