it is his responsibility as the seller to rectify the situation, IMO.. his fault for not getting tracking info..

Any true seller would have a tracking number for you the day the package is shipped. This way the seller is covered if anything should happen. Also, why did you wait so long to try to get things settled? If I didn't have those seats within a week of him saying he sent them, i'd be raising hell left and right. Since you waited so long, you can't even file a claim with paypal to try to get your money back. That has to be done within 30 days of purchase.
Looks like you got rocked hard. This guy will probably lie up and down, so no use aggravating yourself. Try contacting Paypal anyway......

Yeah i made a claim with Paypal but they said it probabaly won't get looked into because it was filed after 30 days
Well see what happens, I think they were sent, but they are lost, or sent to the wrong station. My poor car rolling with brand new fat *** interior with the exception of my grey seats
Bump for a tracking #

That doesn't make him trustworthy automatically...
I haven't seen him post at all about this stuff.

Don't kid yourself. Those seats are still stitting at his house, or he sold them to someone who picked them up. Notice that he hasn't chimed in here to defend himself. Just chalk it up as a lesson.
Lets put it this way, i've bought and sold over 2000 items on ebay from all over the world, and nothing ever got "lost in the mail". That is just his way of saying, "i'm ripping you off".

you know what ? Screw you LEO, i am not here to rip off anyone. So dont assume anything that you don't know, Sorry I am not like you freaking geek that goes on here every freaking day and stare the screen.
As replied and will be restated, I will try my best to find those seats for you, I apologize for not able to make it down to the station, I work in retail almost like everyday and the hours are crazy.
Money is not an issue, I would not scam anyone. People who know me here or whatever or in person can tell you that.
So just bare with me here, I will find you your damn seats.

I've called my local greyhound station everyday for the past week, and the Nova stations are worthless at customer service. No one can do anything without a tracking # which I dont have.

Re: (quikB18B)
i can vouch for quan, being a personal friend of his. he's a completely honest guy, and if he said the seats were shipped they were.
quan is an excellent seller and would never scam anyone, if there even is an error present it's most definitely not on his part.
he makes his money the right way working full time. so just be patient.

LEO - a stereotypical comment that might apply to many, but this is NOT the case for Quan. He's a reputable person, and like everyone else, things don't always go his way.

Sorry tough guy. The poor guy's been waiting forever for his thousand dollar seats and you have no proof that you even sent them. What is everyone supposed to think? Why not step up and refund his money until you track down his seats since you're such an honest guy? I'm not trying to call out anyone or call anyone a liar, but the situation just sounds fishy from the outside here. I for one, would have gotten a tracking number for the guy the day I shipped the seats. Anyone can just say they shipped them and the shipper lost the package(s).

well now, a tracking # was issued to the buyer when the seats were shipped, and the buyer has acknowledged that he has received the tracking # but lost it via e-mail. now how is that my fault?

Well you and I both lost that email, because they were erased through our email. However i don't remember there being a tracking # on there, because 1) I would have checked it, to make sure it was good
2) I would have saved it
All i know is it said your package will be leaving the station in 24 hours, and it would arrive in 10-15 business days. However ive had 4-5 greyhiound employees confirm that they dono't send confirmation emails to the buyers, that's when I became skeptical about the whole situation.
Quan me and you both may have lost the email, but you my friend lost the actual reciept/tracking #.

Re: (quikB18B)
I think that if the sender called and gave his personal information, along with the address of the buyer, they would be able to check on it. I'm curious as to how this turns out.

OK iggy, I will contact grayhound, and if they are truly lost and no where to be found, I will take a lost in it with you, since it is not fair for you to take the complete lost.
I will compensate half the cost of what you lost, that way it will be equal.
And IF PER CHANCE, the seats do arrive, I will trust you in good faith that you will return my money that I will compensate to you.
I honestly can't think of another way to work things out with you besides this, let me know.
