*Scammer*I think I've been scammed by quankwan!!!
Well heres the rundown I purchased some Jdm Itr recaros from this guy back on 1/23/04. Payment sent via paypal. At first I was skeptical because of the price, btu then I talked to Benbuilt4u, the guy who sold them to him, the guy had pictures, and he was a verified paypal member, with twice as many confirmed transaction as me. so far so good.
They had a snow storm the week I paid him so the seats didn't get shipped until 2/10/04. We had agreed to go through Greyhound package express since it was cheaper. I recieved an Email from Greyhound on the 9th saying they would be leaving the station within 24 hours and they would arrive at my local statin within 10-15 business days. 2 weeks go by and nothing, then the 15th business day rolls around and nothing. This I goy concerned and called the station, and found out that they don't even send confirmation emails and should only take 3-5 business days. 3 different people told me this. They said only way to track package is with the GLI#(tracking #), which this guy can't/won't produce for me. He said he no longer has the reciept, WTF!!!! how do you ship something worth more than 1k and not get a reciept

When he is filling out the destination info he is suppose to put down your name, address, and 2 contact phone#, so that in the event that they arrive at the local station they can call you. After a long time they even mail it to you but they charge you extra for that at the door.
So in any chase if he did deliver it the station should have the shipping info with your name, address and contact phone#ers!

Well Paypal is a big crock of ****. They don't accept claims after 30 days, and in my case im SOL. See i sent pm ton 1/23, it took him until 2/10 to ship them which is 17 days later, then the email i got (which I think is bogus) said 10-15 business days so by the time I would even become suspicious it's too late to file claim. I don't know if this is just a coincidence, or he pulled a fast one there, so Paypal couldn't reverse the pmt.

iggy i have an idea.....if u used VISA to pay for the seats through paypal...VISA will reimburse your money because they protect you 100% when buying stuff online....i was in a simular situation and called my bank (bank of america) and told them i bought something off ebay and never received it. i used paypal to pay for the item (they are a crock of ****)....bank of america had my money back in my checking account in like 2 weeks
WHOA!! I was going to guy those seats from that guy, Offered him a lower price, but he said he had already sold them and he was going to ship them out. I've gotten other things from him before and so have my friends, everything went well. I know BenBuilt4u personally and He's a good guy. QuanKwan I know of, but only because I have gotten things off him. I am sure there's a reason for this mess up. I'll contact him about it myself for you.

See im 99% sure he had the seats because Benbuilt4u sold them to him, I saw pics, and the intial thread said Local only, but he offered to ship after I made the arangements, got the prices from greyhound, and told him I would pay his asking price.
I even paid an extra $40 on top of shipping, because he said he needed to buy boxes from greyhound. Shipping was $100 for the seats, and we agreed on $140 for shipping in case he had to buy the boxes. I didn't mind at all because I can imagine the hassle of shipping some seats,and having to buy shipping material. If he were to have found two boxes on the side of the road, and used them I wouldnt have minded, I felt it was only fair to over compensate for his troubles.
But now 6 weeks later im the only with troubles, no $$$ and no seats

Greyhound will give you an ETA to when it should arrive and if within a day or 2 later past the ETA date a simple call to the 1-800 cleared things up.
I'll contact Quan to see what's up. If he did loose the reciept and tracking number, he can go down to the Greyhound station and have them pulled up the reciept on their computer and print another copy.

I asked him for the station he sent it from=nothing, I asked him to call them or go down there=nothing.
The guy at the Fairfax station told me he could probbly look up the transaction, but said he can only do that is the shipper(Quan) does it, he said he can do nothing for me without the GLI#.

Hey quikB18B I purchased the rest of quans items in that thread (itr ****, jdm armrest eliminator) and received them, no problems. Ive spoke with him over the telephone as well. This guy is definately not out to scam people, hes built a good reputation for himself here on ht. On the contrary you should consider changing the topic of the thread. It appears to me that greyhound has lost the shipment if you have not received them already. I know that you might be feeling a bit frustrated but just be patient im sure quan will come thru. If it makes you feel any better im still waiting for my recaro rails (already received the seats) but this has been on ongoing deal since august of 2003

Kendogg thanks for your input, trust me before making the thread I highlky considered the proper way to title my thread. In conlcusion I said "I think" I didn't say he had officially scammed me. I don't mind if a moderator changes it to Quan where's my tracking #, I have no intentions of trying to ruin anyone's rep, as i know Quan has made some key references since he's been here on honda-tech.
See the problem is that I myself have established the fact that these are lost, but I have asked him several times to contact the station and he hasn't. Read the Pm's and you'll see what im talking about. I know if I were the seller, I would have been at the station rasiing havok. When i sell something no deal is done i my eyes until the buyer has recieved thier item(hence my excellent vouch thread)
Im not saying that he has scammed me, but all i know is I have no seats, and no tracking #, so as far as i know they are somewhere collecting dust.
go up and read the pm's I have asked Quan to do things in this situation to resolve it and he hasn't done anything. I've asked him ?'s that he hasn't answered, ect...
Not to mention I haven't heard from him in a week. He is aware of the situation, but I guess it doesn't mean as much to him because hes already been paid.

If it were some $70-$100 dollar item, I would wait patiently and It wouldn't bother me so much, but I dont make much $$$ and I work hard for everything I make. I am an excellent trustworty seller and sometimes I just expect the same in return. Like I've said before I can deal with the fact that they may be lost, and i am willing to wait.....

sorry to hear about this Iggy but i would be skeptical to send money to someone w/ only 78 post on H-T.com and even a good pay pal rating. pay pal sucks and i will never use them again.

although some people may say he is legit, he isnt coming thru for u. not serving you in your best interest by ignoring ur calls and IM's. that is BS. if he was concerned about his rep he would do every thing possible to clear things up and go above and beyond to get ur tracking #. he should send ur money back and when u get the seats, resend the money back to him.
for now this guy is a con artist until he can prove himself otherwise.

Stick I call the two local Dallas stations everyday, I've called a couple of the NOVa ones, but they are no help. Besides there are probably 50 stations between here and Nova, and everone tells me the same thing. "Call back when you have a tracking #".
Next time I will use Escrow.com , Paypla has been alright since I used them, but I just don't understand why they only allow 30 days for a claim to be filed? When i talked to them, they sounded like they could care less.

I am the seller of the seats, and no I did not scam you! I have shipped them out as agreed upon via Grey Hound, and cost wise etc.

I do not have the receipt anymore, so please stop harassing me about that, the GLI # was sent to you via e-mail, i had it and you had it as well, but due to hotmail policies or whatever, they are periodically deleted at certain period of times.
I will try to work with you as best as I can, and to my ability. People who know me from here or whatever, and people who know me in person, money is not an issue, I would not scam anybody.

Hey Iggy, I can vouch for Quan also cause he's a good friend of mine and he's not that kind of person that will screw people around. Something with Greyhound got messed up. It's true he works pretty much everyday. Sorry about your inconvenience....I hope it gets resolved soon.

i just had UPS smash 900 worth of HID lights. man shipping is getting bad.
the ONLY station in NOVA that ships is in woodbridge. It is 45 minutes for both of us too drive too. He is somewhat lazy
. he also does things late at night and not much during the day. cause when he bought from em it was always 3am.
but i do think he will make it right no matter what happens.

Quikb18b, if you had the tracking number before and lost it, you cannot put the blame on the seller.. but either way, I hope you get your seats. Were they insured?

Thank you very much, I'm not here to cause any trouble, we both agreed to these seats via grayhound, because it was more economical, others would have rapped on the shipping charges.

Greyhound don't send email out to receiver's or sender's. But I know they'll call you when the package get to station for pickup.
Plus it don't take more than 4 days... They got buses going everywhere every day. There's no sense on hold the package in a area waiting, while there are buses going your way all most every hour.
