Default DONE! Twin '03 Accord Horns, LOW & HIGH on my DC2 w/ JDM Type R front

I want to hook up two 2003 Accord Horns on my integra, but just wanted to clear somethings up before I went with the process.

On my Integra horn harness, there are two wires, one Blue w/ Red Stripe, and one Black. The integra Horn has two connectors...

But on the 2003 accord horn, and like the Civic, has only one connector, which is the Blue w/ Red Stripe...

My question is, What is the Black wire for? is it a Ground? Can I just ground that wire to the car and make a harness that plugs into the two 1 connector Accord Horns?

Please let me know, if you have any clue how this is done... BTW, I have the Horns, and all the connectors to do the install, just wondering about the wiring.

Does anyone else who hooked up the Hella Supertone horns, know how this is done? it might be similar...

Thanks,
Help is appreciated, will post up pictures, once the thing is done.

Cut the wires, ground the horns, go to the hobby shop and get deans no loss power pole connectors or use electrical tape and then split a set of wires from the other horn to the new one .

if you had to come to ask about how to wire these things up on honda-tech,

you should really take them to someone knowledgable and have it done.

None taken, but, btw, this horn setup went on my Integra with JDM Type R, which I think is related to the Type R forum, besides, I think Type R owners would be interested in installing better Horns than the crappy stock ones.

BTW, I figured out how to do the install and it is done, check out the pics:

let me know what you think.

Well, if you look carefully where the stock horn was, there is now a different horn, one found on newer cars, including Lexuses, my friend's IS300 uses similar kind of horns.

what I did was, Use OEM connectors, off a junked car, made a harness for the two horns and plugged them, in, on the opposite side, I bolted up the other horn to the Power Steering bolt...

BTW, I think on 94-97 Integras, the Horn harness will be two connector, one ground and one Horn wire... On the Newer 98+ Integras, there is only one horn wire.

The 03 accord horns use only 1 wire, what I did to make it work was use Ring terminals and grounded the other horn connector from the car side, to the Horn, you can see it on the right side...

As for 98+ guys, all you have to do if you don't want to cut your stock wiring to install two horns, is to find an adapter off a junked car, then wire up the second horn, you can buy the other horn connector from the dealer new... I have the part number somewhere, if someone needs it, I can look it up again.

BTW, these horns sound 10X better than those that single stock POS...
If you get a chance, go down to the Honda dealer and try out the horn on a '03 accord, that is what you will get if you upgrade to this setup.

So you got an oem connector that is just like the stock one (on the stock horn) and wired it to the horn and conncted everything. That way you can go back to stock if needed right?

Stock wiring harness---[ ]-----Aftermarket Horn

Edit: stock has one horn and you added 2 of them? Or does stock have two..

Yes, use stock connectors to hookup everything, but, not only that but the horns are OEM parts, they are made by Mitsuba, and from an '03 accord

Here are the part numbers for the horns:
38100-SDB-A01 Low Tone
38150-SDB-A01 High Tone

I bought these suckers new from the dealer for about $40 a set.

The stock horn connectors were like 1.25 each.

So like $45 installed for everything.

***Stock only has one Horn, I added two, Low and High Tone, much richer better, sound!!!***
