Gonna have a new owner of #864 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone give a big ole middle finger to a new ITR owner!!!!!!!!!!!! tomorrow #864 (2001 PY) should have a new owner and it will make its journey over to VA. My best friend and I are flying out tomorrow morning to go pick his ITR up. We are going to have a little road trip ahead of us so maybe it would be possible to meet up with some other ITR owners or h-t members Saturday. IM me or smalltownVA if you are interested.

Maybe the soon to be new owner will chime in soon. He may be a little shy
We both live within 10 mins of VIR so maybe one day this car may see a little of the track!!!

Thanks guys. I am the person purchasing the car that ringgold is speaking of. I am buying it from another H-T member. 2001 PY #864 with 56k on it. We are flying out tomorrow to complete the transaction and then starting the 15 hour trek back to VA. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. If we are in the path of anyone on our trip back just let us know. I think we will be on 70 for about 650 miles or so.

My friend is not gonna drive it daily, and its pretty much gonna be garaged. Also we know not to drive our cars out and leave them sitting anywhere with out close watch for any length of time. we live in an area that is hard to steal a car honestly.

Re: (ringgold)
anything can get stolen no matter what area your in. its as easy as getting your plate number, if they know someone they can get your address and poof, it disappears. keep her safe, good alarm-compu-star- and a ignition switch cut off toggle switch somewhere....wink wink

Travis (ringgold) is right about our area being low theft but it happens when you least expect it.

Re: (smalltownVA)
I flew to Kansas City, MO Saturday morning and signed all the paperwork and took possesion of 01-0864. It was a long two day drive back, especially since this is the first time I've ever driven a 5 speed. I am not completely there yet with driving but I am working on it. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
Picking the car up.
Filling her up for the first time. (Haven't added it up yet but I think it was around $150 in gas for the trip)
At a rest area somewhere in Missouri.
Damn bugs.
In St. Louis and heading to Illinois to stay the night.
I didn't take anymore pictures for a while but here are a couple from Lover's Leap in VA. We are almost home; only an hour away. Travis had a ton of fun in the twisties up here.
Welcome home!
Final shot of all the bugs.
Thanks to Travis (ringgold for making this trip with me and all his patience with my awesome driving skills) and Zach for taking awesome care of this car.

Re: (smalltownVA)
Yeah it was a cool trip other than for the fact that I got a speeding ticket in Missouri. Luckily the cop was half way cool and reduced the charges against me since I was exceeding the speed limit by about 50mph over!!!!!!!!! Anyways that is me in that one pic with the hood up, and since I drove an almighty ARRRR for several hours yesterday I had to drive my hatch to school today just to get my fix of boost again and also what it felt like to drive a fast car
