his emphasis was "DEEP"
i have the RM01A on my R right now...that thing barely makes a peep compare to when i had the Spoon N1
if hes true to his question, the N1 is for him

you obviously have never owned a spoon N1, it is emphatically DEEPER than the Fujitsubo
it is DEEP with a cat
it is DEEP and LOUD without one

Why would you buy an exhaust only based on what it sounds like? Especially in a civic with a b18c, which was obviously swapped for performance...

i have the spoon n1. i know someone with the rm01a. both are "deep". however, the spoon n1 is also "loud".
"deepness"
rm01a > n1
"loudness"
n1 > rm01a
the fujitsubo is much quieter than the spoon, but is much deeper. this is because our ears are not as sensitive to lower frequencies.
kepani-who would recommend both!

Because exhaust gains are, for the most, rather similar when comparing brands. I'd rather have an exhaust that sounds good but makes 2 whp less than one that sounds like *** but gets me that extra 2 whp.

That's CLEARLY NOT what he said. He didn't say ANYTHING about making power. He specifically was searching for a deep sounding exhaust. Don't put words in his mouth trying to make me look dumb.
If he made a post about what exhaust sounds better between like two brands that do in fact make power then it's a totally different story. All he did was ask for random brands out of no where based solely on sound.

Ack, don't make me do this...
Skunk 2 Megapower.
Deep, loud and sounds alot better than the Apexi N1 raspy can of rusty nails.
But, not as loud as the Spoon or T1R.
Plus it's relatively cheap, (got mine on sale 2 winters ago for $449. including the silencer), it's full SS and 60mm through.

My vote would be for the Mugen twinloop, which i had been using for over a year now. Not real loud at all, and a very mellow "deep" sound. Probably the best exhaust note ive heard from a honda exhaust.

Get longer gears, or a Camaro. Really, only so deep you can go with a high revving 4 banger.
My Tanabe racing medallion is deep, kinda boomy though. But 4000 RPM on the highway and there's only so much you can do.

BC spec 3 is on my car and coming from people who dont know imports always ask if i have a v6 or something under the hood. I think it sounds great and its also lightweight. People also says it sounds like a motorcycle under wot. Its deep under 6 thousand and I'm running the stock header and when the cam switches it makes an F1 style sound. Basically it makes an Itr sound mean.

Everyone is gonna tell ya their exhaust sounds "deep".
I own a Mugen twinloop and I say it gives a nice "tuned" sound.
