Default A different approach to wheels..

Here's a pic of the wheels I bought from Jeff Brown(still listed on his website) and mounted them on my 1998 R for winter use. At first I thought of them as ugly in a sort of good way.. they kind of remind me of racing wheels. Well, now they've grown on me and I'd rather keep them on instead of putting my CW wheels back on for summer. Anyone know of wheels that look similar to these? I don't care how much they weigh(within reason) or how they look. Any ideas welcome.. thanks.

Good. I'm not going for "pretty".

Just use those and paint the inside black and anodize the lip red. that would look pretty good imo.

If you don't care how much your wheels weigh or what they look like, then what kind of opinions or "ideas" are you looking for? Nice seats BTW.

Mine are in perfect condition, but it seems strange to me that yours are 4 lug and mine 5 lug. Mine may be different wheels..

The seats are sparco evos.

I decided to do this to my stock wheels: http://www.b18c5.org/images/Eric/wheels/. I still have to do 3 more, but I'd say things are looking good so far. I like projects.

They do look similar, but since your wheels have a 4x100 bolt pattern, and his are installed on an ITR (5x114.3), the definately aren't the same wheel.

Are you sure his E30 is 4 lug? I thought all 'modern' BMW's were 5x120mm.

I've seen E30's use E36 M3 wheels, and they are most definitely 5x120mm, and I doubt they would do a spindle/hub swap just for some E36 wheels.
