My 1998 type-r price reduced to $10k

All in perfect working condition runs and drives. Transmission shifts Smoothly, Has a brand New Clutch from Acura, Full tune up has be done, Timing belt has also been replace along with the water pump and thermostat. All fluid has been replace including A/C system has been service. All seals, gaskets. Doesn’t smoke or has any fluid leaks. Brand new battery
Suspension/ Brakes, Tires
The Type R has Original Type R suspension and still is smooth, Good brakes all around has Bridgestone Tires. One of the rim does have some scrape and scratches.
Body/ Interior
All Original Interior No tear or damage on seats, in picture the color looks different but is due to the camera. All options work excellent including very cold A/C original radio, Skunk2 shift **** original floor mats. Dashboard does have some light damage where GPS was mounted by previous owner and gauges. Body is in excellent shape has ZERO rust original paint all VIN #’s front bumper does have rock chips from highway and driver side rear quarters has scratches from something rubbing on it. No other damage.
Attention that the car needs:
Has small clicking noise and it does it only some times ! When going over a pot hole, or driving off According to the Acura of Norwalk CT it needs a motor mount replace.

For sale – 1998 Integra type-r #21. Best car I’ve ever owned – most fun too. Now has about 165K miles. Located in Massachusetts. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this remarkable car as much as I have. Here are some pics of my car from about 10k miles ago:
Here's what you might like:
- Original owner. Bought the car new. Daily driver.
- Always garaged.
- Non-smoker.
- The car is armrest #21 (blackjack!).
- Includes AC option which works great.
- All repairs done by Sunnyside Acura of Nashua (except for a very few small things I did). They have all records back to about 40K miles when they changed computers.
- Huge overhaul around 100k miles, including replacing all shocks/springs/bushings/motor-mounts plus complete going-over.
- Totally stock, except for Comptech intake (which was purchased through Acura), and stereo system. I have the original intake, but I bet you’ll like the sound of the Comptech. I also have the original radio if you want a really horrible radio.
- Just got front skin/bumper re-sprayed (just had typical dots from pebbles etc…) and rear bumper skin replaced (due to minor rear-end – nothing structural nor structurally significant).
- Original wheels overhauled and re-sprayed maybe 15K miles ago.
- No major accidents. Bodywork is in great shape, except for very small ding in rear-left corner. No door dings.
- Motor is SUPER strong. Always has been. You could drive in 2nd and 5th all day long without even using the other gears.
- I’m extremely easy on the car – I take pride in smooth driving, so the clutch is great for example.
- Never tracked, raced, or riced.
- Burns maybe 1-2 qts per 3k between oil-changes.
- I have a brand-new spare set of type-r mats (not the originals, but aftermarket good looking)

For sale – 1998 Integra type-r #21. Best car I’ve ever owned – most fun too. Now has about 165K miles. Located in Massachusetts. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this remarkable car as much as I have. Here are some pics of my car from about 10k miles ago:
Here's what you might like:
- Original owner. Bought the car new. Daily driver.
- Always garaged.
- Non-smoker.
- The car is armrest #21 (blackjack!).
- Includes AC option which works great.
- All repairs done by Sunnyside Acura of Nashua (except for a very few small things I did). They have all records back to about 40K miles when they changed computers.
- Huge overhaul around 100k miles, including replacing all shocks/springs/bushings/motor-mounts plus complete going-over.
- Totally stock, except for Comptech intake (which was purchased through Acura), and stereo system. I have the original intake, but I bet you’ll like the sound of the Comptech. I also have the original radio if you want a really horrible radio.
- Just got front skin/bumper re-sprayed (just had typical dots from pebbles etc…) and rear bumper skin replaced (due to minor rear-end – nothing structural nor structurally significant).
- Original wheels overhauled and re-sprayed maybe 15K miles ago.
- No major accidents. Bodywork is in great shape, except for very small ding in rear-left corner. No door dings.
- Motor is SUPER strong. Always has been. You could drive in 2nd and 5th all day long without even using the other gears.
- I’m extremely easy on the car – I take pride in smooth driving, so the clutch is great for example.
- Never tracked, raced, or riced.
- Burns maybe 1-2 qts per 3k between oil-changes.
- I have a brand-new spare set of type-r mats (not the originals, but aftermarket good looking)

As you know rust is like cancer to steel, I am certain many people (myself included) are deterred just from that alone.

It's not a matter of rust being visible or not, its knowing that its there and the harm that it could do. I guess its all relative, for me (im sure for most people), even at lower price point I just wouldn't want to deal with having to fix rust in all those areas.
If you're really looking to sell that car I would inquire with a body shop and get some quotes for getting rid of the rust so that you get a larger audience to appeal to the car. I am sure you could fetch more dollars that way as well. Good luck with the sale.

Up for sale is a '00 PY ITR 00-0382 shell. I purchased the vehicle back in may of 2012 in hopes of doing a full restoration. Well, things have changed and I'm getting out of the car modding hobby.
The car has a CLEAN NYS TITLE with a 97% rating on CARFAX as I'm the second registered owner and it only has 46,000 miles.
The car was a Florida vehicle with NO RUST at all.
This is a rolling shell. Here is what the car DOES NOT come with:
-Hood
-Drivetrain
-Front seats
-Miscellaneous interior pieces
Other than that, the car is all there.
THIS CAR HAS A SHAVED ENGINE BAY SET-UP FOR A K SERIES ENGINE SWAP. Although the mod is reversible.

-front lip has scrapes from car being so low but will supply buyer with paint just needs a spray

its not that ur honest. its the simple fact that ur asking almost 10k for a rusted car and has 165k. no one in there right mind is going to pay that. and who knows where else there is rust under that car. i say 6-8k (depends on how fast u want to sell) is a good price for that car cause ur probably gonna spend another 2-3k removing that rust. u can find a clean itr nowadays for under 9k.
