1998 TypeR will need to go to the right owner. Best car I’ve ever owned – most fun too. Now has about 165K miles. Located in Massachusetts. It’s time for someone else to enjoy this remarkable car as much as I have.


Here's what you might like:
- Original owner. Bought the car new. Daily driver.
- Always garaged.
- Non-smoker.
- The car is armrest #21 (blackjack!).
- Includes AC option which works great.
- All repairs done by Sunnyside Acura of Nashua (except for a very few small things I did). They have all records, but nothing prior to about 40K miles (new computer system apparently).
- Huge freshening around 100k miles, including replacing all shocks/springs/bushings/motor-mounts plus complete going-over.
- Totally stock, except for Comptech intake (which was purchased through Acura), and stereo system. I have the original intake, but I bet you’ll like the sound of the Comptech. I also have the original radio if you want a really horrible radio. 
- Just got front skin/bumper+lip re-sprayed (just had typical dots from pebbles etc…) and rear bumper skin replaced (due to minor rear-end – nothing structural nor structurally significant).
- Wheels overhauled and re-sprayed maybe 15K miles ago. Direzza star-spec tires installed at that time.
- No major accidents. Bodywork is in great shape, except for very small ding in rear-left corner (maybe 3/4" long and 1/16" deep - no paint damage). No door dings.
- Motor is SUPER strong. Always has been. You could drive in 2nd and 5th all day long without even using the other gears.
- I’m extremely easy on the car – I take pride in smooth driving, so the clutch is great for example.
- Never tracked, raced, or riced.
- Burns maybe 1 qt per 3k between oil-changes if use 10w30.
- I have a brand-new spare set of type-r mats (not the originals, but aftermarket good looking)
- The header on the engine is in almost-new condition, since for the first 10 years or so, it had a Comptech header on it, so the original header just sat in my basement.
- I’ll include a full set of Enkei (I think that’s what they are) wheels, with Blizzak LM-25 snow-tires
- I’ll include the original service manual.

What you might not like:
- As a new England daily driver, it has normal integra rust. Maybe better than normal.
- Interior wear is “normal” for its age, although it is very clean – top of rear seats are a bit faded.

So what’s it worth?
- For the right buyer, $11,500.
- No low-ball offers. No trades. Firm price.
I know it’s high miles. I get oohs and ahhs all the time with the car. You’ll get the same.

Issues
*Clutch MC was leaking but it stopped? Hence the replacement (uninstalled).
*Small oil leak around VTEC solenoid (replaced but still leaking somewhere around that area).
*CEL for EVAP system, still passes emissions though.
*Could use an alignment
*Rear seatbelts uninstalled but are included in sale
*Front bumper has several minor scrapes/chips
*Rear bumper has very few minor scrapes
*Rear hatch has a scrape from a mountain bike
*Exterior is actually in good shape considering its age and is mostly OG
paint (right fender/door/mirror have been replaced)
*Wheels could use a refinish because they came from Japan/N1 Concepts in haggard shape.
*Left front end is popping
*Rear plastics aren't bolted in but I still have the bolts. They are a little scraped up due to my mountain bike.
*There are holes where a rollbar used to be
*Driver's seat has cig burns from previous owner (these seats did not come with the R, picked them up seperately)
*Floor mats are included just not pictured as they were being cleaned
*Basically I treated the R as a car and it is not a garage queen but it is
solid and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It was my one and only daily driver.

Why am I selling?
I am in the middle of a career transition.
I will be purchasing a house within the next year.
I am looking for a newer, different vehicle. I have been driving a DC in some form or fashion for the past 6-7 years.
