Default can a bad intermediate shaft be the cause of steering vibrations

hi,
i've replaced my axles, i've got a grinding sound coming from (?)
i'm thinking it's my intermediate shaft, not sure how to determine it.
my steering wheel shakes as well, could this be the intermediate shaft?

Bad rotors can cause steering vibrations under braking.

my rotors were just turned. new balanced tires put on as well.

anyone know how i can determine if the light rattle/grinding sound during acceleration is my intermediate shaft?

Why do you think it's your intermediate shaft?
Are you sure you have the right axles? What kind are they, rebuilt?

I'm having the same problem with my DA teg. I think the outer left axle is out of spec. It's old and the boot is also ripped. I've replaced the rotors and wheels as well with no change in shaking. I doubt its the bearings either - they seldom cause shaking.

i don't know what else it could be. i've replaced my left lower ball joint, my left wheel bearing, axles twice(autozone) and still have the grinding/rattle sound??
