Sucka If I would have been able to get the brake bleed done, I would have been chewing them up more. But I did have them screaming, ask double A-Ron about that(LOL)... And if I would have got to do more than three sessions they would have been chewed up

Jay, let me know when you get a price. I believe he said the spring rates were 14k,12k. Just what I was planning on running with the KYB.

Kengs/Shane told me it would be much easier to find these if we contacted a few shops in Japan..... (instead of going to KYB)

Were you planning on daily driving this car also??
I was thinking similar rates + 26mm rear sway. I just don't know if I would drive it many places with that suspension setup....

AJ, what spring rates do you have in your car??? Those was pretty stiff, remember chris??? I think he has something like 10,8 or 10,6 if I remember right from the kaa show he told me this.
I think I could stand the 12,10 or 10,8 and still drive it daily. I just might invest in a some new suspension. Im trying to convince Les to get a track car going. And she saids she's serious.
So she might be joining us at some track events(on track)next season...
So I might just swap out my skunk2/kyb for a car she gets. And go with something stiffer for my Rustegra.

Heh, dude, tell Les to sell that Crapalier and get a hatch or something for the street/track.
You are right about Andrew's car.... wasnt too bad when we borrowed his car at the bbq. I'm sure we can find out from him, or in an old thread somewhere. I think they were 10/8K, not sure. But if that is the case, I'm sure 12/10, 14/12, 14/10 wouldn't be too bad.

Have you autox'ed with that setup? Could you rotate/step out the rear of the car with those rates at all? (what rear sway bar do you have?)
I'm guessing no on the rotation, especially if you still have the 14mm sway....

WTF, thats it??? Thats puss&boots stiffness(LMFAO)
Then I know I wont have a problem going with something stiffer.

LOL, I told her to just go out in the crapi. But I guess she wants to keep that for daily grinding. I told her to get a R before she got that kaa too So she's going to decide what she wants to build up. Leave the motor stock and just work the suspension.

i'm actually running ITR rear sway bar... i guess you didnt put the car thru its paces when you took it to pick up the salmon i'm really happy with the setup both on street and auto-x. everything feels really predictable. also, the rear end did come out a little bit a few times... i still dont have tons of experience on auto-x so it'll take some more time for me to learn the suspension better.

Good stuff. So, not alot of oversteer/understeer??
I'm asking because I'm not interested in running higher spring rates in rear like I see on here alot of the time. I want minimal (read: some, not much) lift-throttle oversteer. I'd rather put 225's on front with alot of camber than have my tail swinging out all the time.

the rear does lift out a little bit when i was pushing it.... a couple of times i felt like the car was all over the place for a few seconds until i slowed down slightly and corrected it - but i attribute that more to driver inability on the whole i think the car steers semi neutrally but i wouldnt know HOW neutral since i dont have much else to compare it to... given the fact that the suspension setup i have on the teg is the best i've ever had so far.

LOL, anyhoo.
I'm definitely interested in the SSG's. I'm just so damned confused on spring rates, camber, etc, etc. who knows!!

Yeah, I've thought about the JIC's too...the price is what turns me away most of the time though. A friend of mine that works at a shop was talking about getting a group buy setup through the shop (around $1k for the set I think, good price). I'll ask him if he's still thinking about doing that.
