i wouldn't agree with that. just about every non reclining sparco and recaro i've seen is FIA cert.

there is a fixed back Sparco that is not FIA approved..

and to the guy asking about the expo: there was a big thread about this kind of stuff awhile ago.. if you ask george or trey nicely, they might be able to point you to it faster than I can.. I'll look for it in the morning..

should be fine for most HPDEs though, methinks..

@IVR it's reffered to "touring class." However I might be headed to CO in the next couple weeks for an "actual" track event.

nah.. these are for JDM sized people.. not made for us overweight americans.. yet.. hehe.. with BC starting a US branch, it is a possibility though..

<-- Is down to a 32 waist, and hence considered the BCs..

I wear a 34...and i fit into them I have to take everything out of my pockets....but i fit. They feel great once you are in them....Ask Yack, Chad, or Doctor Cortez.........They liked my seat......especially for the price i got it for. I picked up one for 325 with the Buddy Club rail.

not yet

here is what I discovered.

Corbeau parts+sparco parts+buddyclub parts= no workie

..I tried using my corbeau mounts/sliders w/my sparco sidemounts to no avail. I even tried a little drilling, no dice.

I have more sparco bits on the way to replace the corbeau bits, so when those are here it should be a breeze...I hope

From what i've seen, dont the corbeau mount/sliders have a flat plane on them that you could drill through and bolt the sparco sidemount brackets to?

I'd like a set of them, they'd free up some headroom.

They sure do, but then the corbeau sliders aren't really flat like the sparco slider, they have a handle that has a twist to it and angles up.. Which doesn't allow for the BC to clear it w/out a bunch of washers.. Which in turn shortens the effective bolt you have left to spin the nut onto.

:whew:

My sparco bits are taking too long so I may have to fab something up on my own.
