it's just as the name implies...you enlarge the inside of the TB.
you can do an okay job by hand with a dremel...but something made for machining in a circular fashion is best.
the user "spaceballs the lunch box" does (or used to do) them pretty cheap.
edit\\\ a new brass plate with be needed...

how much does a port and polish TB really help.. i have an ITR head port and polish with some aftermarket cams. CR is 11.5. would i also have to match my intake mani.
