Cool I figured out the picture thing. So they look a little lean hu? This is on a 2000 civic SI with only intake and header. Is this normal for only those mods??? Thanks.

Do you run your car hard often? (be honest) Looking at the soot around the base would indicate you are not running lean, but that you run your car in the high revs often. What plugs are those? They don't look stock and in a hotter range also...
Honda4CX-R's plugs look very healthy

Do you also do alot of idling, that will also keep the plugs cleaned off. Due to it running so lean at idle. IMO would think it would be throwing a code/CEL if were running that lean... The ECU will compensate for the mods you have done, by the MAP sensor seeing more air passing through the intake.
Might try doing a WOT run, and check the plugs ASAP. Before it has a chance to idle, and start clenaing themselves. However, make sure you put some Anti-Seize on them. So that way there is "less" of chance, of pulling the threads out of the head along with the plug(s)...

Looks rich at idle and burning really hot at high rpm's. You might want to try using a ngk plug what style im not sure i dont know your set up. But basically i think you need to go to a ngk plug. Question are those some type of platnium plug??
Yeah I'm using Bosch Platinum. Are those any good??? Should I go stock. What kind of plugs should I get? All I have right now is an intake and header. Is there a cheaper alternative to honda plugs?? Those things are like 15 bucks!!!!!!! Thanks for all the replies everyone I really aprecciate it!!!!!!!!
And oh yeah I had been running my car hard before I took those picks of my plugs.

Uhmmmm .... I never had good luck with BOSCH plugs or Distrubutors. However the NGK's are like $1.75 per plug (or less) at your local auto-store.
The only time you should opt. for a different plug (heat ranges) is only if you are buliding up a N/A High comp. engine or Turbo/NOS/Supercharged applications ....

My stock plugs have the code- PFR6L 13. My SC plugs have the code- BCPR7ES 11. Look at the last # (13, 11) that is the temp level of the plug.(both are NGK R) Honda Civic SI's run rich at WOT. That would explain the reason your plugs look like that (clean/white at tips, sooty around the edge)

Cool man. Thanks. I really aprecciate (spelling) it.
whats done to your motor is it high comp or turbo --> if so might want to get some ngk bcpr7es work well let me know ur setup, but from what its looking like your pretty fine, a little lean but at least there not fouling too bad

Bottom end looks good but up top you are leaning out a bit just as everyone said... Feel the tip of the plug with ur finger??? I can't really tell from the pics but it looks a little little pitty?? You may be detonating slightly... What is your ignition timing at??
