Default Will a 99-00 Civic Si Drivers side axle work w/ a 91 DA integra? Lotsa Pix

I am seriously lost. I needed to change out my drivers side Axle on my stock 91 Integra LS.

A guy had sold me his whole setup from a 92 DA GS-R. That included the drivers side, passenger side, and the intermediate shaft. Originally he sold me just the drivers side axle, but for some reason, his had a male end and a female end.

Here's a pic of my 91 LS drivers side axle:
one side:

the other side:

He sold me this one:

Which clearly shows it having a female end. No biggie, I figured he gave me the wrong axle, so I trade him for a different one. and end up with another axle, but the side that went into the intermediate shaft was only a Half spline, which you can see here:

After making a previous thread about it on here, I was told it was a passenger side axle. UGH.
So I take it back once more. He agrees to give me all three pieces, and let me figure out what i needed (nice guy), but he swears it will work with my 91 DA cause he says the axles came out of a 92-93 GS-R.

Here are the intermediate shafts next to each other, with my old one on top:

Here is just the newer intermediate shaft:

I decide to try and put in the newer intermediate shaft with some buddies of mine that work at a local Honda dealership. The intermediate shaft went into the transmission, no problem, but it would not line up to the 3 14mm bolts where it mounts to the block.

One guy notices that it has a civic part number (his guess was an EG civic), which is shown here:

He tells me that civic part numbers are always the "SR3" series, where as mine is always a "FK7" series. Great.

I send the guy I bought the axle from a few pix explaining my dillema and here is my response from one of his friends:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the axle setup you received was from me, i gave it to him to put in his DA, the axle setup is out of a 99-00 civic SI (b16). They are the same length of the DA axles except you must use the newer drivers side axle. I had this axle setup on my b20vtec and then had it installed on my boys 92 integra, so if they are not working your just not installing them right. If you cannot get them to go in pm me and ill see what i can do. as for the part numbers, the guy at john eagle (honda) is a retard, cause you cant get a eg number off of a b series axles. eg axles are one short and one long combo, there is no intermediate shaft, and these are not a jdm set.</TD></TR></TABLE>

So now they turn out to be civic si axles? What is going on? Will this combo work, but me and my buddies are too stupid to make it work? All I asked for was a 91 DA integra axle. Everything is soo effed up.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Why not just stop..Put back on the original halfshaft and get the correct 90-93 integra axle..?

Im not sure about the bolts on the block not lining with the hydro halfshaft.,,

Well that's the thing, he told me it was for a DA, and I believed him, and had me second guessing that mine was some other bootleg axle combo. But now I know he sold me a 99-00 Si one, so now I'm just double checking to make sure I don't make another mistake. I'm trying to get my money back so that I can do exactly that, Get the correct axle to begin w/.

But there's no way this 99-00 Si one will work, correct?
