What's causing my teg to vibrate?
wow, great forum you guys have here
anyway, I have a '97 integra ls. I just recently started getting a weird vibration that seems to be coming from the motor, though I can't tell.
It happens when I'm slowing down, and when I'm stopped. If I'm in 4th and take my foot off the gas, i'll feel a vibe and it sounds kind of rattley. If I apply gas, the vibration stops. Once the RPM's fall below a certain number when letting off the gas the vibration will stop.
Sometimes if I put it into reverse or 1st when I'm parked, I'll get the weird vibration.
Is this tranny related? I know it has nothing to do with the tires, because if I put it in neutral when slowing down the vibrations don't start, and it happens with/without breaking.
Tranny problems?

motor mounts is a good guess, but i had a simular problem. it was lifters. also check the bolts that hold the alternator in. Had any work done lately? check that part it might be loose.

Sounds like a motor mount and also check any parts that might have been changed recently. How many miles does it have on it?

I agree ! or maybe low idle... it should be 500 to 800 rpm.. normal
