Default What Motor fits in a 92 Integra?

I need a new motor for my integra. I currently have a B18A1. What motors will bolt in without to much modification? ie exhaust/intake manifolds, computer, distributor, mounts. Is the motor from the 90-91 integras different? I am just looking for a stock application but would like to know what my options are. Thanks in advance

The 92-93 motors are better than the 90-91.

Any b series will bolt up in there, but for vtec engines you have to do some wiring, and the only good motors are the vtec ones. b16, b18c, etc...

b20z stock with a b16 tranny would be a killer motor without vtec

Yes, but there's much more potential in a high revving vtec motor.

it seems that the 90-91 motors are easier to find. wouldn't a used motor be cheaper than a rebuild?

why down grade to the 90-91 motor jus get another 92-93 motor and build yours on the side... or go with a jdm b16a motor and add the wires for vtec and your set
