Weird shaking/vibration when accelerating between 1500-3000 RPM? Motor mounts are fine...
It feels very similar to a motor mount being dead, but I inspected them and they look fine. Under no load (revving engine and idle) there is no unordinary movement.
When accelerating, the car wobbles slightly. Another thing I noticed was that when the clutch engages, if I don't feather it into gear, it "clunks" as if the engine or the tranny shifts...Any help appreciated.

That really does sound like a bad mount. Recheck them, it can be hard to tell sometimes. Make sure that rear mount is good too.

could also be ur tires, make sure they are all balanced, i had a simliar problem, i thought it was a mount or bearing but as soon as i changed the tires and rims it went away.

Yeah, the front mounts appear to be in very good shape. Not even a crack or twist. Now, the rear one is the one I have limited visibility for at the moment. Once I pick up my flash light, I will double check. From what I can see, it looks ok though. I really hoped it wasn't the rear one though...I never have had the honor of changing one, but I hear it's a pain.

Funny that you mention this, I was thinking the same thing just now. I have another set of rims in perfect shape. I will slap these on and see what happens. Although this doesn't explain the sudden jolt when I shift...

That "jolt" that you speak off is what leads me to believe that it would be mounts, but I'm not exactly sure why it would shake only during certain rpms otherwise. I hope for your sake that it's not the rear mount. Jack up the front end... do either of the wheels move a lot if you push it to one side or the other?

You mean the retaining clip that holds it into the halfshaft or tranny? Did it only shake at certain times, or at all times other that sitting still?

I'll check the wheels for any side-to-side movement, but yeah, what "clip" are you referring to?

I have the same issue and just had new tires put on and discovred the innner tie rod was bad. Also, I would check into the half shafts...my buddies Corolla did this and once he replaced the half shafts the problem was gone.

Wheel balance might be the issue, but I know that hondas tend to have issues with the wheel bearings, and tie rods...And sounds like you also need axles...

If the car is lefted and you have up and down movement in the wheel it's the bearings, if it is side to side, it's tie rods...Blown axles need to be replaced, that's only have the problem.
