i have a ls vtec wit a 1993 gsr head pr3 pistons high compression b18b1 block,skunk2 manifold,golden eagle vtec line...idk wat else to add to make it faster? any one can help me?

Well you current set-up is around 11.9:1 compression. Build the head....get cams that will work well w/ your set-up, and you'd be pleased.

Change the block out for a B20 and swap the head with a B18C1 Gsr. Throw in a set of cams with the appropriate valvetrain. Get a good I/H/E combo, get it tuned and your good to go. Sounds a lot easier on paper right?

ok so is every one on hear a **** suck just help or don't post **** wtf........ the turbo idea is good but will!!!!! give u problems and its a project in its self (a turbo kit) so the head guys are right you will be pleased and its hells reliable!! i wish i would have keeped my all motor setup not gone turbo, sounds cool though, more power (top-end) 2 lol

Point being, if you are going to post a thread, make the title a little more descriptive (read the FAQ and forum rules). If you want to post up help for people, use correct grammar, otherwise no one takes you seriously, or at least I don't.

Here is some help to make your LS-Vtec faster in general. You could always buy a turbo kit for the most bang for your buck. If you decide to stay all motor you will need to upgrade your valvetrain with new, more aggressive cams, new stiffer springs, new valves, higher compression pistons, and a port and polish of your head. these will get you a good amount of power, but will never make your car as fast as a turbo'ed car for the same amount of money. When installing these parts, you will want to invest in some good fasteners to ensure that your engine isn't going to get destroyed in the higher RPM's. After all of this work, you will then need to get a good engine tune, regardless of if you decide to go turbo, or N/A. Hope this helps. (also try searching the build threads for more ideas)

You'll only be able to reach so much power with an all N/A build. You can definitely get ITB's. Also, run a bigger exhaust set up and delete your cat.

hmm nobody has asked yet so i will. What transmission are you running? i dont care if youre making 1000 horsepower if its not getting to the wheels it doesnt do any good.
