Vtec, 2step, Rev Limiter. Engaging whenever
Anybody ever experienced this problem? I cant solve it. Some days its spot on. and other days its like vtec will crossover at 2grand, 2step will be a 5 and rev limiter at 6 just random numbers whenever it wants to.
And I have tried 2 different Phearable ECU's and i have a third on the way.
Thanks Again.

Re: (slaminsam)
check the voltage in your wires coming from the dizzy and any ones going into the ecu that may affect vtec crossover, rev launch, etc, it very well could be a problem with your wiring harness (frayed wire somewhere, short out, etc.) i dont know what your situation is but plug in your stock ecu and see what happens, that should clear up alot of the possibilities/questions

Re: (poppypizza)
there should be 3 wires for vtec, i cant recall the wires exactly but black is ground, or atleast it was on my vtec subharness i got from rywire
look up and ecu pinout for whatever ecu you have and it should say what every wire is then check every one you think might have something to do with it, i would start there

so i was driving today listening to the motor and vtec was engaged at 2k on my tach..... but the motor was well above that. so i think its something with it reading on the tach. It climbs really slow (ls-vtec). anyone ever have any problems like this? whatever reads my rpms im guessing is my problem, somewhere in the dizzy? does anyone know where to start?
