Valve springs?
Im pulling my head apart...and i was told their is a way to remove the valve springs and retainers without a valve spring tool??? is this possible? if so tell me how...BTW its on a b18a1 motor!!!

All you have to is get a deep socket that will push the retainer down without touching the valve. Just put a little back behind it. The keepers will pop right out. Literally takes about 1 second to do. Don't do this with the head on the block. There is a chance of losing a keeper. Putting them back together is not as easy

So should i get a valve spring compressor tool, for when i put them back on?! And how do i adjust them?
