does the valve cover gasket have an actual side that is used for 'front and back' or does it not matter?

also is the gasket suffient enough or do i need to use hondabond before i put the valve cover back on?

Default Re: valve cover gasket question (homie)

I'm not sure if it is symmetrical, it would probably not fit right if you had it backwards.
You use a bit of silicone on the corners of the gasket. Don't warp the valve cover, tighten it down evenly.
