Re: Supercharging my Integra! (typeRclone90)
Is your Integra a b18b or b18c? The b18b can handle a decent amount of boost on stock internals. 5 psi sounds a little low, but I have no hands-on experience with FI motors, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

A little more info would really help us help you, let us know your goals, and maybe a little about your car and what kind of SC you're planning to use ect...
With superchargers, especially the ones designed for our cars, you're going to run into problems with heat well before you have to worry about too much pressure for stock internals.

JR superchargers for ls's don't put up the numbers as great as you want them. that's why there was a sale on them a while ago... i think they're discontinued, but i could be wrong... just turbo the sucka and you'll be happier with that.

dont bother with SC your LS, its a huge waste of money and you will be disappointed in the results for how much you end up spending.
Definitely go turbo. If you want a linear powerband go with a smaller turbo like t25 or sc34. You will be able to make at least 250 whp safely, and if you piece it together, it can be just as cheap as SCing.
Good luck

seen plenty go to 8psi on stock motors with a JRSC with minor adj. to the fuel supply... don't see why there would be a problem... and these people don't even need to go Hondata or whatever. Just FMU, HO Pump, pres Reg, and maybe inj. upgrade.
