I've heard something about installing mods such as intake, exhaust, and headers ....

1. Will make it more expensive and difficult to get a smog check is it true??

2. Does it void the warrantee?

1. wouldnt be more expense, depending on what intake/header/exhaust you get some may not pass smog tests

2. depending on what fails it may void your waranty, but more than not when a dealer sees mods they will give every chance not to fix your car. so if youre really worried and dont know much about cars then dont do mods until your waranty expires.

1) only certain Intakes, Headers will let you pass smog.

2) depends on the dealership. I have had Intake header and exhaust on they still did work without asking about it.

as long as the mods have CARB stickers or plates smogging should be fine. if not, you won't even pass visual unless the smog tech doesn't even care.
