Default Skunk2 Pro 2's on stock B18C1.. What else do I need?

Hey guys, I've got a basically stock GSR and I've got a set of Skunk2 Pro 2 camshafts and 3-bolt AEM cam gears. The motor is basically stock with basic bolt-ons (I/H/E).

I'm trying to get a look at everything I will need to get these running reliably for my daily.

First question is, are the AEM gears trustworthy? I'm hesitant to use them after some research because I've heard they have a tendency for slipping.

Second, I'm considering either the Skunk2 or Supertech valvetrain set (Springs, retainers, valves), since I know this is pretty much necessary to keep things running reliably. Is there anything else I will be needing to run these cams and breathe easy?
I realize upgrading the bottom end would maximize power gains, but I'm really only looking to face the power gains I can expect with the stock bottom end until I can afford to upgrade.

I'm assuming I will also need a tune, so I was thinking ECtune since I've heard good things for the price tag.

What else do I need to do to get these in my motor and runnin happy?

I did a search here and on google, but the only input I really found was regarding the Tuner series stage 2 cams, so since I'm not entirely sure of how different these two models are, I figure I will be better off safe than sorry.
Thanks for looking!

you can run the pro 2 in your gsr with proper valve springs and retainers. these cam have a high lift. i know you need to have the degreed and tuned. the tunner 2 dont make as much power and not as high of a lift and can be used with stock piston. you still need valve train upgrade. check skunk 2s web site for more details .

probably going to be lazy with 10:1 compression. you can run 12:1 with pro 2s and be just fine. a set of p30 pistons would give you a MAJOR power increase

Definitely over cammed, a set of p30's or ITR pistons with a 1 or two layer HG would be much better. I dont know much about the AEM cam gears but you can easily find gears with 4-5 bolts, which would be safer. As for springs and retainers you could use either SuperTech of S2's, or Rocket Motorsports (which I was going to run with my Pro1's but am now selling for a JRSC). Good luck with the build man
