Default replacing DC4 ignition cylinder for auto, will 5spd ignition work?

as the title says. got a 94 integra ls that was stolen/recovered, and i'm in the process of replacing the multiswitch and ignition cylinder. will a 5spd ignition cylinder work for a auto? cuz i know the auto one has a solenoid so the key won't go out if its not in the Park "P" position.

Please let me know guys!
