Pro/Cons to removing front fender liner?
My wheel was rubbing with the fender liner, so I removed them both.
Pros and cons to removing them?
How many of you have removed them?

this may be stupid, but also if you drive in snow and sand, it's alot more noisey because now all that shat hits metal instead of plastic...

Especially if you run into construction where theres rubbles of loose dirt. That **** will hit everywhere and you will hear nasty noises from the inside.
It would also SLIGHTLY affect the aerodynamics of your car at high speeds resulting in a somewhat lower miles/gallon.
I've had no liners for more than 3 years and I've listed my problems. Other than that, if you're really slammed and don't want to bust up your current ones due to rubbing then leave em off. I'm used to it so it's no biggie to me.

look out for water spray from the tire onto the filter if you have a cai, could get dangerous.

I forgot to mention that...
I used to run a cai too and when it rained...it pretty much sucked in some water...car was sluggish as hell...
But I managed to get the water out...
Fuel Injector cleaners/Chevron Techron ...they all helped.

I made the mistake of taking out my fender liners. It helps if you have a lower car because it won't rub, but you can pick up rocks and chip the paint from the inside of the fender causing little star like dents. I am looking for new ones now.

try to get a 'rubber' hammer and just make it a little bigger if you have to have some extra room, but dont do it too much, same goes for all inner fenders

Removing the driver's side fender liner is also a security risk, unless you've re-routed your hood cable.

well since nobody has said it so far. if you have a cai on your car and the liner is removed. most theives can and will jack your filter. pretty stupid but it happens espcially to my friend's ride. thieves=
