Yes. What is done to your engine? Most people port match.

Yes, how much is the $1000 question. Port matching the TB and to the head, matching the butterflies to the plenum and to the runners and smoothing rough casting flash with cartrage rolls. You'll spend nearly $100 on gaskets and probably get 1-3hp. Just a wild *** guess on the hp btw

This is one of the last things that should be done.</TD></TR></TABLE> agreed. but if your hell bent on doing a p&p, go to http://www.polarbeartuning.com and buy a pre ported intake manifold. you send them your old one, and they send you a ported one, costs like 70 bucks or so. they also do flywheels, ecu's and stuff like that.

well you kinda know the situation with me i changed the stock intake manifold for thre vic X manifold the only way to make it beneficial is to change the cams,valves springs and retainers.thats 900 bucks so basically i am putting the stock one back on and i figured since the stock one is already off id port and polish it so this whole ordeal isnt done in vein.

If you only have I/H/E on your car, there's no reason to waste money on port matching, polishing, etc...the money could be spent in a lot more effective ways

Yes you can. More than 1-3 if you engine allows for it. With a I/H/E your not there yet, cams and a compression increase then you'll be ready.
