is this a clear indication?

Just so you know, spark plug wires don't leak. Do you think that maybe your valve cover is leaking oil around the spark plug holes. There are gaskets which can allow oil to enter the area where the spark plug wire attaches to the spark plug. Oil being in this area can create issues with spark therefore causing your engine to run poorly. Check this out...good luck!

i think you may be correct because when i examen them this morning i there was oil residue around the tip of the wires not much though but just enough to leave a mark of oil in my hands.am gonna try a different set of wires and see what happens.
by the way just changed injectors from 310 to 550 but on installing i tuned them and the car was reeving properly and after about 30min of driving the car began to break up. do u think i that could be the problem

no, i dont think changing injectors would make the car break up at all.. (rolls eyes)
are you serious?! lol. why did you change the injectors? are you turbo'd? and tell me exactly how you can tune an injector?

uhh management???theres a thing called duty cycle ever heard about that?(rolls eyes)
and if am correct running too rich over a long period of time can mess up your spark plugs..

That could definitely be a problem. Why did you change the injectors? Also, how did you go about "tuning" them? As for the wires, the area where the wire comes in contact with the plug should be free of any oil. If there is oil, your seals on the valve cover around the spark plug holes are probably bad. Replacing the plug wires will work for a while until oil drips back in there. Good luck!

ok, first off you don't tune an injector; you tune the engine's computer with some sort of software.
second, how do you have a supercharged car, know about engine management, know the hp output...yet you dont know that spark plug wires cant leak? did someone build this car for you apparently?

You have to think about this. You changed injectors...retuned the car, and 30 minutes later it started breaking up? Spark plug wires aren't going to fail that quick. My guess (limited knowledge of what was actually done during the tune) would be that you were running too rich, and after that 30 minute drive, you might have fouled the plugs. You obviously have a valve cover leak, but that little bit of oil won't cause a car to be running fine, and 30 minutes later, breaking up. I just don't see that happening. What a/f ratio are you tuning it for? Were you using a wideband, or just guessing? Was it being tuned on a dyno or street tune? I'd say replace the plugs, get it on a dyno, and see what's really happening here.

ok,first off am just going by what my mechanic told me when he examine the engine..he told me that the plug wires were leaking..am not sure if he meant something else like (the seals in the cover were bad and caused a leak)
am not a mechanic so i ask question if i don't understand something.after all thats how i manage to tune my car following basic knowledge and general rules on a dyno using my greddy ultimate and a wide band with no experience ..
anyhow i got the problem sorted out it appears that some fool(me) didn't change the injector size in the management system and reduced the duty cycle too low which was in a constant battle with the ecu in closed loop.my spark plugs were black at the tip but i haven't check them in a while so am not sure if my lil episode caused that to happen..
(and no i was not using a wideband o2 sensor just the stupid narrow band in the car when i was retuning..my bad )
but yes my seal is leaking around the spark plug area am going to get that sorted out tomorrow.

see...that's the art of diagnosing. If you changed something recently, change it back, or figure out what went wrong. If something messes up directly after making a change, its more than likely something you did. It is sometimes something else going wrong, but 9 times out of 10, its something you did. Aren't you glad you didn't spend $50 on new plug wires, and still have the same problem?
