P1259 with engine off
I'm no stranger to P1259, it usually means I am a quart or two low on oil and my VTEC will not work. This time it's different. I keep getting it right when I turn the key on. Like it thinks there is a short or open circuit. I replaced the pigtail and checked the wires multiple times, they are crimped on, but they've been fine like that for years. I re did the wiring and it still sets the CEL immediately.
I assume that the VTEC solenoid itself will not cause this, and most likely it's the oil pressure sensor either clogged or failed somehow (considering I've checked the wiring as far back into the harness as I can).
Any ideas or experience with this code with engine off?
