So I was refilling my antifreeze and I noticed a hose sticking out and it wasn't connected to anything. So I gave it a little pull and it slid right out! I don't know know where it got pulled from or what the hose was even for. Below is the picture of the hose.



And it was just sticking out here.



Please help!

Anyone? All my windsheild sprays are working fine. So what could that hose have been for?

Its a sprayer hose for sure. Did you check your rear window sprayer? (if you have a DC that is)

it's dc2 and the rear sprays work as well. I am thinking maybe it was an extra hose that the previous owner tucked in?

Because if it's a spray hose for sure, then I don't know what else it could be other than a spare hose, but who leaves a spare hose there, lol.

okay, I may have been a little over-confident lol. I have a DC2 as well, and the only hoses like those that I've seen on my car were for the sprayers... But maybe its a runoff hose or something? All the other hoses I can think of are black and very well attached, so I don't know what else it could be. Perhaps I'll have to go investigate on my car...

If you could take a look, that would be great. It was just a hose that stuck out from where the blue cap is. I'm not sure if the other end was stuck into to a reservoir or something, it was wet with something but it could have been just water since its snowing here.

nothing was released. The end of the hose though was moist with something, I couldn't tell what. It's strange that it was connected to anything though and that it was able to be pulled out so easily.

Check to see if any of the spray hoses look the same as that one. Maybe the previous owner replaced that one and just left it there.

yeah, I think that's what happened because all the sprays work and it looks similar to the hooked up lines.

if all your sprays and liquids work fine, than I would disregard it and delete it from your worry-some thoughts.
