No brake lights
So I have no brakes lights in my 95 integra. I've changed the bulbs and still nothing, fuse in the under hood fuse box is good. My horn doesn't work when I hit the horn button I can hear the relay click. The brakes did work when I was working on the car in storage but like I've said I have no brake lights now. I have tail lights and license plate lights turn signals just no brake lights and the 3rd brake light also doesn't work.

Re: No brake lights
Disconnect the wires from the switch at the brake pedal and short them together. Do you get a spark?
-- If you get NO spark, then there is no electricity getting to the switch, and your problem is further upstream.
-- If you DO get a spark, then the switch is bad.
Be careful! If the wires do spark, they will get very hot very quickly, so touch them together very briefly!

Re: No brake lights
You could take off the plastic driver side dash panel, then unbolt the metal brace to get better access. Or like u said just unscrew it. The lights should turn on with the button out, off with the button in. Also try taking out the fuse and putting back in to see if it gets a better connection.

Re: No brake lights
Ya i planned on swapping that fuse out still to try that out read where a guy had the same issue the fuse looked good but he still replaced it and it fixed it. Is there a fuse under the driver side dash for the brake lights? Does the 3rd brake light only come on with brakes applied or does it also have a parking light

Re: No brake lights
check the cluster fuse under the dash?
when my taillights go out it usually goes hand in hand with the cluster lighting because its the same fuse.

Re: No brake lights
Brake light switch has no power. Checked power at the green and white qire and had no power. The under hood fuse it good and has power there but I can't find a green and white wire from the under hood fuse

Re: No brake lights
The green and Hite wire on the brake switch plug no power there even checked the white and green to make sure. Used my multi meter. I metered the 20amp fuse for the horn and light in the under hood fuse box and it had power. Tried to follow my electrical diagram in my Chilton for the brake lights it says fuse is constant power then goes to brake light switch then to brake lights

Re: No brake lights
Then you have cruise control.
With the ignition OFF and key OUT, unplug the connector from the switch. You work with the connector, not the switch.
Short the terminals together CROSS-WISE, or corner to corner. If nothing happens in BOTH directions of the X, then the switch is not getting power. If you get a spark in ONE direction, then power is getting to the switch and the switch is bad.
Do not short side-by-side terminals together accidentally or you will fry something!!!

Re: No brake lights
It would help both of us a lot if you did not read this on your telephone, but on a laptop or desktop.
Let's summarize, which is a valuable skill when troubleshooting:
-- No brake lights work under any circumstances
-- Horn does not honk
-- Horn relay clicks when pad is pressed
-- Other lights are OK
-- Engine can be started
This means that power is getting through fuse #42 -- which is the one that feeds the brakes -- and is making it as far as the ground past the horn button. This is good.
I think you have a break somewhere in the under-dash harness. Such breaks only happen because somebody has attacked the factory wiring in order to install something electrical.
Please enumerate all the aftermarket intrusions into the wiring system, such as:
-- alarm
-- remote start
-- stereo
-- amp
-- speakers
-- custom lighting or gauges
-- anything at all else.
