you are not going to make a reliable NA motor that puts down 250
why do you not want turbo, but would go supercharger?

my bro has a turbo in his car and hes going thru motors left and right and idk about supercharger but is there anyway to make 250 hp with a b20 all motor setup or any other b series motor

B20/Vtec that is built correctly should be reliable and pretty damn close to 250 whp.
If not B20, you'll have to stoke your stock motor to around 2.0 or bigger.

the problem is not the turbo, it is the way yur brother is building them/lack of tuning
b20 is not a good candidate for that much power cuz you will have to buy sleeves either way for that much power

a 250whp all motor b series is a marvel of engineering, you would need to sleeve it, bore it, stroke it, raise compression to 12:1+ and do a **** ton of head work

Just turbo ur teg, what do u have? an Ls or gsr? Both are great engines for turboing. It's all in the tune, eather one will get u 250whp reliably as long as u spend money to get a good tune.

The operative word here is BUILT. you can easily put together a reliable turbo set up, the key to making it reliable is the tune. Get a good manifold ( love fab tubular etc..) decent turbo, injectors, hondata/crome/neptune, and easily make more power than an N/A set up for a fraction of the cost, not to mention a **** load more tq. Read up on the FI forum (LST thread)

If you're going to go turbo, to have a reliable setup, you have to build up the bottom end anyways. Essentially the same build as a n/a but just with lower comp pistons.
Add the cost of the turbo, engine management, and the likelyhood that something is bound to go wrong...ahhh...I'll sick to n/a.

FLAWED, boosting a stock bottom end b20 is like putting a stick of dynamite in the engine bay.
choose one or the other now, it doesn't work too well to go NA then switch to turbo cuz their concepts are different

if you want something reliable for a daily driver why not just pick up a gsr block and build it with itr internals, problem solved

you need to build it, tune it, and dyno it to know how much HP your going to make.
You can make 250 in a b18 without stroking, but the more power you put into a motor, and more aftermarket parts you put it in, the less reliable it is going to be.
If your planning on boosting something else later down the road why don't you just put some bolt on's on this car and leave it alone, that way you will have reliablity along with better gas mileage.
However a little searching and you will find all kinds of things on NA B builds. Check out the all motor forum.

You don't always have to stroke....
