Yea the stage one clutch I'm looking at is from exedy and it's only a bit more expensive but can handle more. It's not like I want it for racing but I want it to be a good quality clutch.
And it's lame I tried to come up with something better but couldn't so INTEGURL was my only choice lol

This has been kinda covered 100,000 times before. But...why get a stage 1 if you're just DDing it? I would prefer the exedy OEM replacement over the stg.1 for just DD. The stg.1 costs like $150 more and you won't see any it's benefits from DDing it. The OEM replacement Exedy has smoother and lighter pedal feel/engagement. My GSR's clutch is like buttah. So smooth and light and nice for DDing the car. If you planned on tracking the car or driving agressively, I'd say that the stg.1 is great.

The OEM Exedy replacements on Ebay are like $110-115 shipped! Can't beat that. And they're really high quality clutches. Honda factory clutches are exedy brand. So you're basically just replacing it with what was in there. A lot of manufacturers use exedy as the oem brand.

no need to upgrade the clutch if you are running a stock engine, complete waste of money. Just stick with oem.

it's a good idea so you dont have to worry about it later. dont forget to get the flywheel resurfaced.

Unless there is something wrong with them, there is no reason to change them.

I am on my 4th clutch, [two OEM ones and the second ACT] spraying a 75 shot and autocross will do that, but I am still on the original master and slave cylinders. 94

The clutch master and slave are easy to change. If they give out, you can usually pump the pedal to get you to base camp. It's not like a g35 or an Audi where the slaves are a bitch to swap.

might want to check your slave and master cylinder now. i had the same problem when my master cylinder went bad, my car wouldn't go into gear. Replaced both the master and the slave and it worked perfect afterwards.
