Default Missfire in all cylinders?

I have an 88 Teg, D16A1, only mod is a CAI.
When I slowly accelerate it does not missfire but if I accelerate the least bit aggressively it will missfire in all cylinders. If I slowly accelerate to past 2k and then floor it there is no missfire. It idles great. The CEL is not on and there are no codes being displayed (OBD-0).
So far I have replaced the O2 sensor, TPS, coil, dist cap and rotor.
I'm about to go insane trying to solve this problem and it started three weeks ago.
Does anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong?

Thanks,
Nathan.

hmmm, cant be good for the enigen if all your cylinders are mis-firing.

get the injectors tests. Are you sure its mis-fire and not detonation? Could be due to timing too advanced or retarded.

When I hook up a timing light to any of the plug wires I can see the miss.
The timing is dead on.

What exactly does it look like when you hook up the timing light? If the timing is correct, the light should flash at however many degrees BTDC the ignition timing is set, and you should see the red mark on the crank. If your timing light has an advance ****, it should illuminate the white TDC mark.

And I'm pretty sure you can't use a timing light on the other spark plugs, because there are no marks on the crank pulley for when those cylinders hit TDC, so hooking up a timing light to the other cylinders won't do much.

Are you following the correct procedures for checking timing? On OBD-1 G3 Integras you have to use a jumper wire in the diagnostic connector near the ECU. I don't know of the older Integras had anything like that, but you have to do that on the G3's to get an accurate reading w/ the timing light.

Gen1 does require the jumper wire to correctly read and set the timing from the #1 plug wire. The timing is right on the red mark.
When I point the light at the hood and watch the flashes I see no flash when I hear the missfire during acceleration. As previously stated, it idles great without missfire.
Just to ease my mind I'm going to have the ignitor checked at the parts store and check it myself with a multimeter. It should be good since these symptoms are not anything like when the ignitor had to be replaced.

Thanks,
Nathan.

so do you have the timing light hooked up and running inside the car while you accelerate?

Well the engine's not going to act the same just revving it at a standstill vs. actually accelerating the car.

The problem is consistently the same if I'm driving or revving. It started doing it about 10 miles from home and I had to accelerate like a granny to get it home.

I replaced the plugs and wires tonight and the problem is gone for now. I'm too drunk to go test drive it so I'll let you know later if it's fixed.
