he asked ponies not revs..
dont forget honda cranks are forged not casted..
so they are pretty strong and most racers dont change it and we are talking
about somewhere above the 400hp..

Ok, thank you Mr. Beek's, I'll plan on keeping with the stock crank then. Is there any sites that give specified tolerances for a B18a1, such as allowable crank endplay?

You can probably find the specs on H-T somewhere.
